My Story
I grew up in Tipton, Indiana — a small farming community in northern central Indiana where everybody knows everybody, neighbors were practically family, and a strong handshake still means something. That tight-knit environment built me from the ground up.
After earning my Business Management degree from Indiana University Kokomo — while working part-time to full-time throughout my entire college career — I launched into the professional world hungry. My first career chapter in insurance at Indiana Farm Bureau taught me discipline, relationship-building, and how to show up for hundreds of clients every single month.
From insurance I moved into legal marketing, financial services, and eventually into national sales leadership — generating exceeding $10 million in sales across all 50 states at The Luxury Pergola. Every step sharpened a different edge.
Real estate has been where some of my deepest personal growth and discipline has come from. Flipping and renovating homes taught me how to see value where others don't, make smart decisions under pressure, and see projects through from concept to close. That hands-on experience led naturally to founding Bess Property Solutions — a company built around helping families identify the right updates to make before selling — and then actually doing the work. From the strategy to the execution, we handle it, so families can walk away with the biggest possible return on their investment.
Today I'm based in Venice, Florida, working with Excel Telemessaging to expand a national company's presence into the Venice area and surrounding Southwest Florida communities — bringing a locally driven approach to a well-established platform. I'm always building — a business, a property, or the next chapter. I've got a dog named Doge who keeps me honest.
